About the Author

I’m Lisa Kray: Accountant by daylight, writer after dark, ruled by two spoiled chihuahuas. Coffee is non-negotiable at sunrise, chocolate is mandatory at
bedtime, and if there’s a true-crime podcast playing, the dust bunnies can fend for themselves.

I write humorous cozy mysteries set in a tucked-away Pacific Northwest mountain town where the gossip is fresh, the friendships are fierce, and – purely on paper, I promise – bodies stack up faster than in Cabot Cove.

As a kid, I devoured Nancy Drew books and dreamed of driving a powder-blue convertible straight into danger.

Reality check: I grew up, chose spreadsheets over speed traps, and learned I am decidedly cranky before coffee.

But the mystery itch never left. Nearing retirement, I finally dusted off that dream and started, well, murdering people on the page. (It’s cheaper than therapy and no one needs bail.)
